What you can do with sixty tabs open.
Four things, each of which used to take a minute of squinting at the tab strip.
01
Recognize a page instead of reading its title
Every tab renders as a live preview card, so you spot the one you want by its shape. Sixteen favicons that all look the same stop being a problem.

02
Put your tabs in the order you think in
Pick up a card and drop it where it belongs. The real tab strip reorders to match, so the arrangement survives when you close the grid.
03
Keep work separate from everything else
Chrome tab groups appear as colored bands across the grid. You can see at a glance which pile a tab belongs to, and move it between piles by dragging.

04
Get to the tab you half remember
Type a few letters and the grid narrows to matching titles and URLs across every window. Press enter to jump straight there.
